We’ve not recorded a new episode yet as I’m looking for a bit of a hand here, folks. You see, my co-host will not go actively looking for a title to review. I’m ready to go with mine but he’s dragging his heels. So I’m asking for your help in an online vote!

So here are the ground rules:

No hentai.
Nothing overly moe.
52+ series are out

He’s got far-reaching tastes so don’t be put off by “Well, maybe he won’t like what I suggest, so I won’t vote.” So now is the time to introduce him to a great new series or one-shot! Hey all. No this is not an update for the show. God knows I’ve promised the sun, moon and stars before only to embarrass myself a week later.

This is just to say that if you’re leaving comments on the site from now on, you’ll notice the comments pages are powered by IntenseDebate. If you still want to leave comments in the normal way, cool. But ID users can now leave comments for me, and I can respond quicker.

EirtaKon 2008 plus updates

Eeeper’s Choice will be at EirtaKon in Dublin City University November 14-16. Come along and see us. I’ll be running (I think) the fan culture panel so come and see me make an ass of myself. Tickets are €12 for one day and €18 for the weekend. More details can be found here.

The show’s in a hiatus status at the moment. I’ve to re-record some audio before I can post the next show. After that, hey it’s plain sailing. To all who are still subscribed, thanks for sticking with us.

New show out on Sunday

Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve just started film school and Oni has been on holidays/vacation for the last few weeks so we totally forgot. The Apollo’s Song/Assemble Insert show is finished. I’m just editing and mixing right now. Should be out on Sunday all things being considered. The new season is is the planning stages now and we’re just figuring out which titles we want to start off with. Only one more show after this show coming up to go!

Also, fans of my other show, I ♥ The 80′s, should note that the next show should be out next week, and I would take that with a pinch of salt. I do have another three shows recorded, it’s just they’re 1+ hour affairs so they’re bi^$%es to edit.

Just to update you all that the latest show is scheduled for release tomorrow night. Will it be an Overfiend review? Maybe. Then again maybe not. You’ll just have to listen in I suppose.

Hey all,
right about now you should be at least enjoying part two of our three part, end of season, episode 14. But, due to the fact that I broke my mic on Monday and only got a replacement today, I’m behind on editing. It’ll be a while before I finished editing the last of the current season. So to make up for this I’m going to release all of the back episodes from “Season One”, that being two podcast co-reviews with Aaron from the WARP Anime Podcast and Gerald from Anime World Order plus the long-promised-but-never-released cosplay panel and Con-Director interview that I recorded from Eirtakon.

So I hope this will all done by Friday or Saturday. If not fire off a comment on this post or email me and ask what the hell is the hold-up.

In the meantime, please check out Anime Pacific(soon to close), Anime82 and Viga The Otagal as thhy actually have shows out at the moment.

Hi all. So if any of you cared, then you’re probably wondering what the hell we’ve been doing to the last two months or so. Well I’ve been busy in my job which is ending really soon. My employment I mean. So I’m currently on the prowl for another job. As the dole does not pay much in the way of anime and manga. I have however recorded an episode with Oni and that should, should, be up next week hopefully. I’ve also recorded my first joint review with a fellow podcaster and that will be up right after the current batch of shows are posted. I’ve still the Lolicon/cosplay panel from Eirtakon and the interview with the con director from that con as well to put up.

Here is our new promo. This will hopefully replace the original promo that I recorded way back when. Please use this for the time being until we can debut the new stuff in January.
